New book we are recommending "LabVIEW GUI: Essential Techniques"
It describes building LabVIEW GUIs. If you think you are building good front ends this will make you super good. MasTec in 2004 will be incorporating many of the techniques in this book in project work.
Another new book we are using "LabVIEW Graphical Programming" Gary Johnson
The original LabVIEW book updated to LabVIEW 6.1. It seems that most people are at 6.1 and holding. This book is about Advanced LabVIEW programming but more than that really it focuses on specific areas and project work.

Some more thoughts on perceptions:
Over the last few months we started discussing perceptions and beliefs and how they affect our lives, we have looked at hot buttons and how they point to what is a resistance point inside our mind.
It is time to look at the largest indicator of our mind's state and that is from judgment.
There are many ways to talk about judgment, what we can look at is how the process works and what is going on inside and how we may fix it. It is very simple.
Here is a very simple rule to think about, " It takes one to know one".
In the matter of judgment, the only way we can assess any body or any thing is by knowing ourselves about what is going on. Just think if we were newly arrived Martians, would we know what is friendly, happy, angry or anything at all of what was going on around us, we would be confused or just bewildered or blank or scurrying around trying to understand what all this is that is going on.
So in the matter of judgment, if we believe we see something in some one else, like that person is proud or upset or rude or what ever, remember the rule applies, " It takes one to know one".
Yep, we have the same stuff inside us that we are using to make the judgment, oops.
So if we find ourselves judging, the best thing to do is to look inside and say when have I been like this at any point and fix ourselves, a little mind mining or exploring.
You know what eventually happens after clearing enough reactive stuff out of our mind, we stop judging because we don't see it anymore, we just see people and things without putting labels all over them.
Sweet happiness returns, peace and joy.
A return to the love state rather than being in the fear state.
Remember all events are neutral until you put some label or judgment on it. Keep pure.
