Wireless Blue Tooth

Hello to all our Readers,

The highlites for April, are all about Radio- Wireless - M2M this month.

It is like 1997 all over again, when Z World introduced the Core Module concept.

-- A Core Module has all the essential computing parts on one simple, low cost PCB with headers, ready to implant in your mother board.

Now the essential parts of embedded computing have shifted once again.

It used to be digital and analog with a serial port was enough, then it was essential to have many serial ports, then Ethernet became king, now it is Wireless, all types of wireless, GSM, Wifi, Direct RF, and now Zigbee.

Rabbit and Maxstream have integrated on one tiny PCB, micro and wireless.

I promise next month to focus on something new, like wireless, oops, no, how about Instruments, bench instruments.

Some Notes of Interest:-

Frequency Devices - the very well known filter and oscillator company -- has been sold.

Array Inc's programmable instrumentation test grade power supplies are worth a look -- 5 star value

GW Instek continue to expand their Programmable Test Grade Function Generators and LCR Meters.
