I don't know how you are all
doing out there in your businesses, but we are busy busy busy.
TWe are reading from our position that there is a lot of activity
going on out there in the big world especially in the NZ machine
and product builders

MasTec has been looking now for over two years for a manufacturer that makes good quality Alterntive Power Systems with reasonable prices and a long history.
USA manufacturers are too expensive and also their product is often not international.
Another large factor in the search was to find a company that makes green power systems. That is inverters that are load sesnitive and shut down when there is no load and only uses a few watts to watch for a load to be turned on. There is no point putting in the latest solar panels and batteries only to have the power used up by inverters that slowly use it up even when nothing is running.
Also, in th ewhich list we thought it would be nice to find an inverter charger that can also take solar panels and wind turbines as well as gensets, that is one box taking all sources in and managing them.
And finally, an inverter system that can be expanded if the load grows by paralleing inverters.
PowerMaster has all of this and more.
We can also supply AC bypass switches, solar panels, chargers, large batteries, 200 amphr sealed lead acid, DC to DC converters etc.
Now that is quite a line up of product. Prices are reasonable and quality is high.

You may have been reading the media on CFLs recently, that CFL fluorescent light bulbs that the NZ government wants everyone to switch too, when they drop incandescents.

etc etc etc. Doesn't sound very good really.
So at MasTec we are thinking that the jump should be from incandescent to LED in one step, hence over the last year we have been developing agencies for LED technology.
