100th Edition
We are celebrating the 100th issue of our web based eNewsletter.
Thank you for allowing us to send this each month to you. It is short this month due to a holiday, only 2 major products.
However the products that are highlighted are rare announcements with actually something very very new and most important for developers of OEM products for product #1.
We will be definitely be advising engineers to use this product in any new product manufactured as it is so flexible and low cost.
For the # 2 product , you will love the pictures, these are for all green transport, roading, remote power sites, utility, large corporates, building owners and any group interested in Green Technology.
End of Q2 or Q3 depends how you count them.
We count from the beginning of the year.
It should be clear now how the Business year has progressed, at least in monetary terms.
MasTec had a record Q3, with August being the highest sales in the last 2 years. So things are looking up.
If you plot the graphs, the mean is up on a nice steady angle since Oct last year.
We hope the same is happening for you, in your business also.
Wireless Technology and Embedded Technologies-- next month
We would like to report next month on various Wireless technology, we have been marketing over the last few months.
We have happy customers that are making some real gains using this technology.
We will also cover the latest embedded technologies for the year.
Several companies are developing with it and we have seen another significant step in embedded power and abilities, especially around wireless and web based solutions
The HighLight for this month is a rather BIG Announcement.
Over the years we have sold around 25K TrippLite products into Oceania.
Because of this success, TrippLite of Chicago USA, whom we have been working with now since 1993, has expanded our territory significantly.
Here is a chart of the countries.
New Zealand since 1993 Australia - Special sales Fiji China - Special sales Samoa Solomon Islands French Polynesia Malaysia Tonga Papua New Guinea Cook Islands Thailand New Caledonia Vietnam Niue Kiribati Vanuatu Indonesia American Samoa Laos Yes China. We have sold significant numbers of UPSs into China.
We are now actively looking for sub distributors in all these countries in the chart.
Do you have a business in these areas that wants to expand?
We require companies with a knowledge of Power Systems.
We do not require you to stock large amounts, just enough to get started and then as business comes and you feel comfortable, to grow the inventory for certain products.
MasTec stocks TrippLite in Auckland and can ship to you as required.
TrippLite has a huge product range, not only UPSs. check their site out site
A New ServiceYou will recall back a few issues we introduce a nice set of Battery Chargers with incredible specification and size. Probably the best power to size and weight ratio to date for chargers.
Well the company just whispered in my ears they now are in final stages of testing their 5400 watt chargers that have a small foot print also.
So now you can get a 48 VDC 100 amp charger right from a NZ manufacturer or higher voltages less current. This is serious product at superb prices.
Soon you will able to get a 110VDC 48 amp charger also right from the NZ manufacturer. Now I know all you power guys will be interested, all those working in sub stations, power stations and the like.
If you are in Australia or beyond, and you are distributing power products, this also may be a good line to pick up to market in your areas. It will blow away almost any product stacked up beside it both in specs, performance and price.
Smart Works System is "For Sale"Thank you to those that have contacted us abut this. We feel we have found a buyer and a buyer and a partner. We will make further announcements on this shortly.

Aurora Wind Turbines and Solar
Aurora has recently released these very very low noise vertical axis Wind Turbines.
Main Charateristics:
- 300watt or 2000 watt models.
- Available as a Wind turbine and Tower
- or as a Street Lamp Post with turbine, solar panel, charger, inverter, battery and pedistal and LED Lamps.
- These turbines run with wind at almost any quarter, horizontal, shears and down and up drafts
- This makes them suitable for mounting on buildings inside cities where these sudden changes in wind directions.
- Apartment roofs can have several running to make power for the building.
- Road signage is also another important application.
- Green Power Stations for apartments of buildings. A dozen of the 2KW units will reduce power costs.
They are already deployed in road systems in Europe and are basically maintenance free.
If you need Wind Turbines this may very well be the way forward, as noise is very low, maintenance is low and performance is high.
