This is the local NZ company that was highlighted about a year
ago. - see their site
A short report and update.
One of the Infranet System's sites in the Pacific Island's just
went through one of the recent Tropical Hurricanes. The monitored
site is a large diesel genset.
The power went out at this site, which is a very large hotel resort and the genset that is for backup power, started up and ran for 34 hours without a fault.
The Infranet Syatems Infrastructure monitor was watching all the technicals of the diesel genset as it ran and would report every 5 minutes to the NZ website that all was well. Fuel could be seen, temperatures and the general health of the system watched.
The Engineers in NZ responsible for the Hotel genset were very happy to sit back remotely and watch the data come in from the physical site to the NZ web server during this very tough period of time.
A little on the Infranet Systems Product and other usages
