Drop-in Networking Explained
Digi's Drop-in Networking solutions include ZigBee®/802.15.4 wireless mesh gateways, adapters, modules, extenders and environmental sensors, as well as our Wireless RF-based serial and Ethernet cable replacement products, that include GSM, GPRS, WiFi, Direct RF single point, Direct RF Multipoint.These products can be used to connect or network-enable electronic devices and sensors where no wired networking infrastructure exists, where access to an existing network is prohibited, or when laying cable is impractical or cost prohibitive.
