Company History

ETPS designs and manufactures a range of professional test and power instruments. Group companies are located in the UK, Germany and France.

The roots of ETPS extend back to the early 1970’s. The company was originally part of a major european group primarily focussed on design, manufacture and distribution of a wide range of OEM power supplies.

As the group flourished the need for accurate test equipment increased. A variety of adjustable instruments started to be produced in-house to meet these testing needs.

These products proved popular with other manufacturers needing power test instruments. The decision was taken to set up a separate independent division. Over the decades the ET group companies have continued to grow organically. Our customer base and product range now extends into many market sectors.

We are proud of our design capabilities, technical excellence and manufacturing flexibility. More than 40% of our production involves modifying our standard platforms or designing custom units to suit unusual requests.
