Most users have a strong preference for high specification TFT color screens in their applications. As client needs become more complex and demanding the simple monochrome (4-shades of blue) displays are only the screen of choice due to their lower pricing; not because of their characteristics.

The new list price (valid per February 1st) of our 6" TFT HMI520T is set at an amazing $469.00 USD + Freight to NZ or where you are.
This pricing equals the price level one would previously pay for the monochrome model, hence underscoring our belief that the end of general usage for monochrome screens has arrived. Why would any user buy a monochrome screen if, at the same price, one can have a TFT 256-color display?
It is clear that our choice to re-position the HMI520T is a big deal.
