Some Info on Panasonic SLA Batteries=Sealed Lead Acid

Tough:- These SLA rechargeable batteries are designed to provide outstanding performance and withstand overcharge, overdischarge, and resisting vibration and shock.

Compact:- These batteries save installation space, while providing full and reliable power. The use of special sealing epoxies, tongue and groove case and cover construction, and long-sealing paths for posts and connectors, assures that the SLA battery will offer exceptional leak resistance, and allows them to be used in any position.

Stability and Reliability:- The LC series’ are exceptional, that means that troubles due to abnormal, improper operation or misuse will be reduced to a minimum.

Note on Ordering Batteries:

All the smaller SLA Panasonic batteries use spade type terminals.

There are two sizes of spade terminals (small and large).

Small size is 4.75 mm : Faston tab type 187 (4.75mm=0.187 inches hence the name) - F1

Large size is 6.35 mm : Faston tab type 250 (6.35mm=0.250 inches hence the name)- F2

UPSs- Alpha, Powercom, Power Bank, Soltec, TrippLite and Power Kinetics etc all use the 6.35mm connectors to create a lower current density at the terminals.

To get the correct terminal size, please measure if in doubt.
