Internal precision test loads from 0 ohms to 6400 ohms in 1 ohms incrementsThe Model ESU-2400 Electrosurgical Unit Analyzer is a high-accuracy, true RMS RF measurement system designed to be used in the calibration and routine performance verification of Electrosurgical Generators. It offers a higher degree of accuracy than previously attainable with conventional Electrosurgical Unit Analyzer designs. The ESU-2400 provides an advanced low reactance internal load bank with a range of 0 to 6400 ohms in 1 ohm increments. It is microprocessor-based and utilizes a combination of unique hardware and software to provide accurate and reliable test results, even from noisy ESU Generator waveforms such as Spray. The Patent Pending DFA® Technology utilized in the ESU-2400 allows the system to aggressively digitize the complex RF waveforms produced by Electrosurgical Generators, analyze each individual digital data point and provide highly accurate measurement results.
The ESU-2400, unlike many conventional ESU Analyzers, has internal HV setup relays to control the measurement path, allowing the user to switch between power measurements, leakage measurements, CQM/RECQM/ARM testing or even run an autosequence that could include any or all of these tests without even moving wires around.
The current transformer internal to the ESU-2400 senses the RF current flowing through the internal test load and produces a ratiometric voltage which is digitized and analyzed by the microprocessor. Combining the standard and low ranges of the ESU-2400 with the use of the current transformer, the user has full control over the ability to get high accuracy and high resolution readings from all types of Electrosurgical Generators.

Pulsed RF waveform measurement mode for low duty cycle pulsed outputs offered by some electrosurgical manufacturersThe ESU-2300 is an Electrosurgical Analyzer. The measurement engine of the ESU-2300 is a specially-engineered true-RMS RF ammeter and wattmeter, designed to measure the complex RF waveforms produced by electrosurgical generators. The ESU-2300 has been designed to comply with electrosurgical manufacturer industry standard current sensing technology and utilizes an internal precision RF Current Transformer. The analyzer utilizes a precision internal test load resistor network. The ESU-2300 is intended to be routinely used to measure the various parameters relating to the testing and performance validation of electrosurgical generators. DFA® Technology allows the ESU-2300 to aggressively digitize the complex electrosurgical generator waveform, analyze its components and provide accurate and stable results. It may be used as a stand-alone meter or in conjunction with a PC utilizing the optional software.

ESU Analyzer - Very High Accuracy - Pulse Measurement - External LoadsESU-2050P ESU Analyzer - Very High Accuracy - External Loads ESU-2050 ESU Analyzer - Analog - Ultra-Portable - Internal Loads (50-500 Ohm) ESU-2000A The BC Biomedical ESU-2050P adds a Pulse Mode to the ESU-2050.
The ESU-2050 ESU Analyzer is the first instrument of its kind. Designed through extensive collaboration with several of the world's leading electrosurgery generator manufacturers (including the worldwide market leader), the ESU-2050 is a highly accurate calibration-quality instrument intended for use by OEM factory technicians and field service engineers. Customers who desire to test their ESU generators in the exact same way the medical device manufacturers do can also use it. It is one of the only ESU Analyzer's with a 1% reading level of accuracy.
The calibration quality analyzer uses external precision non-inductive test loads and wide band current transformer. The standard model is compatible with all legacy generators with continuous output waveforms, and with the latest technology generators such as the Covidien Force Triad©, Ligasure Blood Vessel Dealing generator, etc. The standard model is NOT compatible with generators that produce pulsed output waveforms.
This device requires a Pearson Coil and External Resistors (not included).
The ESU-2050 requires the following items that are not included with the test equipment purchase:
A BC20-00230 Pearson CT 4100 1:1 OR a BC20-00231 Pearson CT 411 0.1:1 (most commonly used) is needed. You will also need to purchase one or more Precision Resistors depending on the ESU platform you are testing.
A CQM-2000 is helpful if you do not have another means of testing CQM/REM/ARM.
